I will be spending 1-2 years at UMD to evaluate the effectiveness of lithium isotopes in tracing crustal recycling and metasomatic processes in the Earth’s mantle by characterizing the lithium isotopic composition of mantle samples from a variety of settings and ages.

My other research interests include

• Subcontinental lithospheric mantle genesis and evolution.
• Diamond formation.
• Eclogite compositions and origins.
• Subduction zone processes.
• Accessory mineral compositions.
