Comments: Beartown State Park was in walking distance of Eagle Mountain Farm, in which the last of the Eagle Mountain Pig Roasts took place, with Charlene McClure and me in attendance. This was a very strange place. In an Appalachian rain forest, a layer of limestone was dissolving out from under a layer of sandstone, creating a bizarre landscape of chasms and collapses.
