Nicholas Schmerr

My research interests include the study of planetary bodies using seismic techniques and future manned missions to the Moon and Mars. I'm a part of the NASA GEODES Tubes and Void Spaces Theme group, with a focus on the joint use of computational models and field work to analyze volcanic settings. To this end I use wave propagation simulation and meshing softwares to create and study geophysical models of subsurface lava tube geometries.
