The UMD Panorama

Housed at the only public research university located within the beltway of the Nation’s Capital, the University of Maryland  Nu Instruments Panorama is only the second of its kind in the United States.

This instrument is being to contribute to basic scientific understanding of science related to methane, with a focus on global and regional methane – tracking sources and sinks and changes that relate to the rise of this powerful greenhouse gas.

We are working to provide information of value in addressing questions with direct relevance for policy decisions at regional, national, and global levels relating to the environment and climate.
