Research Interests
I study the thermal and structural characteristics of planetary lithospheres through petrological and geodynamical modeling of melt processes. I primarily model the lithospheres of Mars and Jupiter's moon Io using the alphaMELTS thermodynamic calculator and ASPECT, a finite element geodynamics code.
