Paleontological E-Journals Accessible from the University of Maryland
Current for Spring Semester 2016
Content of the following journals are accessible from a University of Maryland IP address through these links;
additionally, they may be retrieved through the Journals tab of Research Port. A shortcut to the ResearchPort access is to copy the text ".proxy-um.researchport.umd.edu" (without the quotation marks) and paste it into the URL of the article you are interested, after the .edu, .org, or .com but before the first "/". For interest, if you wanted to access:
http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v529/n7584/full/nature16447.html
you would copy .proxy-um.researchport.umd.edu and put it after "...nature.com" but before "/nature...", like this:
http://www.nature.com.proxy-um.researchport.umd.edu/nature/journal/v529/n7584/full/nature16447.html
(NOTE: the University of Maryland subscriptions to these are subject to budget cuts over time...).
